About the Role:
Join The Learning Experience in Astoria, NY as a Part Time Classroom Aide, where you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners. This is an exciting opportunity to support teachers and make a positive impact on children's early education.
*We are looking for a specific part time schedule of: Monday - Friday 3pm-6pm*
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime and group activities.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Support children’s social and emotional development through positive interactions.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and preparing materials.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in early childhood education preferred.
- Experience working with young children in a classroom setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Must be patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic.

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
