Camp children ages 6-12 years old.
Our summer program encourages social and emotional development, teamwork, and collaboration all summer long in an environment where children feel happy and safe.
Role Responsibilities:
Plan and implement daily activities such as games, special events, field study, arts and crafts, team building etc…
Facilitate activities with children in an engaging manner with positive guidance
Provide direct supervision to children at all times
Act as a role model for children, display appropriate behavior, and create a safe, inclusive environment of all campers and staff
Maintains camper discipline as necessary, in an appropriate manner, to achieve camp objectives
Ensure that equipment is returned to the storage area in the original condition and put back in an organized fashion
Perform general cleaning duties including, but not limited to: trash pickup, sweeping, mopping, and room disinfection
Completing a variety of records and forms such as parent notification, incident, and first aid forms
Perform a variety of miscellaneous duties as assigned
Requirements
Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
- Demonstrated experience working with children or excellent customer service
