As a Preschool Toddler Teacher, you will:
 
As a Toddler Teacher (1 -2 years old), you play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for children aged one to two years old. Your primary responsibility is to create a safe and stimulating atmosphere that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of toddlers. You will plan and implement age-appropriate activities, foster positive relationships with parents, and ensure the overall well-being of the children in your care.
 
·        Key Responsibilities:
 
·        1. Curriculum Development:

·        - Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports the individual needs of toddlers.
 
·        - Plan daily activities that promote language development, motor skills, socialization, and cognitive growth.
 
·        2. Classroom Management:

·        - Create a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
 
·        - Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective communication.
 
·        3. Individualized Learning:
 
·        - Recognize and respond to the unique needs and abilities of each toddler.
 
·        - Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles and developmental stages.
 
·        4. Parent Communication:

·        - Establish and maintain open and regular communication with parents regarding their child's progress, activities, and any concerns.
 
·        - Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss developmental milestones and address individual needs.
 
·        5. Health and Safety:

·        - Ensure the safety and well-being of toddlers by adhering to health and safety guidelines.
 
·        - Administer basic first aid when necessary and communicate effectively with parents about any health-related concerns.
 
·        6. Collaboration:

·        - Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
 
·        - Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions.
 
·        7. Documentation and Assessment:

·        - Keep accurate records of each child's development and progress.
 
·        - Conduct assessments to track developmental milestones and share findings with parents.
 
·        8. Professional Development:

·        - Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education.
 
·        - Pursue opportunities for professional development to enhance teaching skills.
 
Do You: 
  • 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred. At least six months of professional teaching experience required.
  • Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred. High school diploma/GED required.
  • CPR and First Aide certification preferred.
  • Must meet state specific guidelines for the role.
  • Must be willing to be flexible with schedule; operation hours 6:30am-6:30pm
