- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers, modeling best practices and providing constructive feedback.
- Classroom Management: Oversee overall classroom operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
- Role Modeling: Serve as a positive role model, fostering a growth mindset and cultivating a love of learning among children.
- Curriculum Implementation: Execute our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children.
- Safe Environment: Create a safe, nurturing space where children can thrive through play and exploration.
- Parent Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents, sharing updates on their children’s adventures and achievements through various channels, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
- Center Success: Collaborate with center staff and leadership to achieve goals related to enrollment and engagement, supporting the overall success of the center.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with families and colleagues, cultivating a dynamic environment where play and learning occur seamlessly.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional teaching experience in Early Childhood Education (ECE) required; 2+ years preferred.
- Education: Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Compliance: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
