 An infant teacher, or early childhood educator, is responsible for providing care, education, and guidance to children in their formative years, typically from birth to around age 5. The role involves creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that supports the child's physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development. 
Some responsibilities are:
- Ensure the classroom is child-friendly, safe, and secure, free from hazards.
- Provide emotional support and build a trusting relationship with the children.
- Respond to children's needs with warmth, empathy, and attention.
- Plan activities that stimulate the senses, such as music, art, and physical play.
- Foster social and emotional skills by encouraging cooperative play and emotional regulation.
- Promote language skills by speaking to the children clearly, reading stories, and engaging in conversations.
- Introduce age-appropriate books and learning materials to develop cognitive and problem-solving skills.
- Use play as a tool for learning, incorporating math, science, and literacy concepts.
Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
