The Learning Experience Henderson is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Cook to prepare nutritious meals for young children. In this role, you’ll help create a positive, safe, and happy environment by preparing healthy meals that support children’s growth and development.
The Learning Experience Henderson is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Cook to prepare nutritious meals for young children. In this role, you’ll help create a positive, safe, and happy environment by preparing healthy meals that support children’s growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare healthy meals for preschool children, meeting dietary requirements.
- Track and communicate food allergies for each child to ensure safety.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain food inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service to children, parents, and staff.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of cooking/food preparation experience.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Food handling certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
Schedule:
Part-time, in-person position with availability during Center hours (6:30am – 6:00pm, Monday through Friday), and occasional evening or weekend hours for parent meetings or events.

All employment is at-will, meaning either party may terminate the relationship at any time, for any lawful reason, with or without notice.

Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
