Role: Center Director
Location: Grand Prairie (Forum Drive)
Total compensation: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 depending on experience and education
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate individual with daycare or preschool experience to join our team as a Center Director. The Center Director will be responsible for the daily operation of the center in accordance with company policies and state licensing standards. The Center Director will implement classroom curriculum, support staff, and drive new enrollment while retaining existing students.
This is a new preschool, so the Center Director will have the opportunity to build a team and culture from scratch.
Responsibilities:
The Center Director has 3 main areas of responsibility: Leadership, Enrollment & Engagement, and Health & Safety. Below is an overview of some of the tasks the Director will handle.
Leadership:
- Identify and interview teacher candidates
- Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers
- Ensure TLE curriculum is executed in alignment with brand standards
- Create weekly schedules
- Manage daily classroom ratios
- Manage employee and student files in compliance with state licensing regulations
- Coach and support staff to help them improve and meet their career goals
Enrollment and Parent/Student Engagement:
- Actively works towards the goal of enrolling to center capacity
- Retain existing families
- Nurture parent relationships, address their concerns, and solicit feedback to improve the center
- Conduct tours with prospective families
- Contact leads to convert them to tours and enrollments
- Maintain a positive, caring presence with students
- Organize and execute community marketing events to raise awareness and drive enrollment
Health and Safety:
- Ensure all health and safety standards are in full compliance with local and state licensing regulations
- Require staff to follow all health and safety standards
- Ensure a clean, safe, and healthy physical environment
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of center leadership/management experience
- Possess a current Texas Child Care Director credential
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
