Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate STEM activities for preschool learners (ages 2-5).
- Conduct simple, hands-on science experiments that encourage exploration and discovery.
- Introduce young learners to basic STEM concepts (cause and effect, problem-solving, observation).
- Create a safe and structured learning environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking.
- Manage materials and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
- Collaborate with school staff to integrate STEM learning into the summer program.
- Encourage teamwork and creativity through fun, interactive science-based projects.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children in an educational, camp, or STEM-based program setting.
- Background in science education, early childhood education, or a related field preferred.
- Passion for STEM learning and inspiring young minds.
- Strong ability to engage and excite children through hands-on activities.
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
