Hours: 5-10 hours per week

The Learning Experience Summercreek is seeking an energetic Summer Physical Education Teacher to lead fun and engaging field activities for preschool learners throughout July. This role will encourage movement, teamwork, and physical development through structured outdoor games, sports-based activities, and an exciting Family Field Day event to celebrate the end of summer!
The Learning Experience Summercreek is seeking an energetic Summer Physical Education Teacher to lead fun and engaging field activities for preschool learners throughout July. This role will encourage movement, teamwork, and physical development through structured outdoor games, sports-based activities, and an exciting Family Field Day event to celebrate the end of summer!
Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate physical activities for preschool learners (ages 2-5).
- Lead fun and interactive games that promote movement, coordination, and teamwork.
- Organize and oversee outdoor field activities such as obstacle courses, relay races, parachute play, and sports fundamentals.
- Encourage positive sportsmanship and active play in a safe, structured environment.
- Manage and set up equipment, ensuring a smooth flow of activities.
- Plan and execute a Family Field Day at the end of the program, bringing children and families together for a fun-filled celebration.
- Collaborate with school staff to integrate physical activity into the summer curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children in an educational, camp, or sports-based setting.
- Background in physical education, early childhood education, or a related field preferred.
- High-energy, positive attitude with a passion for movement and play-based learning.
- Strong ability to engage and motivate children through active, hands-on participation.
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
