We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of each child.

Duties
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Provide attentive care to toddlers and infants, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to encourage good conduct.
  • Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages exploration and curiosity among children.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for children.
  • Stay informed about current trends in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Experience

  • Previous experience in toddler care, babysitting, or caregiving is preferred.
  • Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
  • Experience working with special education needs is a plus but not required.
  • A background in childcare or related fields will be beneficial for this role.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour Depends on Experience 

Experience:

  • Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:

  • Child Development Associate Certification (Required)
  • 12 Core ECE Units plus Infant Toddler Units 
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
