Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Director in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Support staff in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate curriculum.
  • Facilitate communication between parents, staff, and administration to promote a collaborative environment.
  • Conduct staff training and development sessions to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor children's progress and implement strategies for individualized learning.
  • Manage classroom activities and ensure a positive atmosphere for children and staff.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling and maintaining records.
  • Promote a culture of safety, respect, and inclusivity within the center.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a child care setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and early education principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent is a plus.
  • Passion for nurturing children's growth and fostering a love of learning.
  • First Aid and CPR certification required or willingness to obtain.

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
