The Learning Experience is seeking a qualified, passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team and support our partnership with South Carolina’s 4KSteps program. This position is ideal for educators who are dedicated to early childhood education and want to play an active role in helping children develop the skills they need to succeed in school and life.
As a Preschool Teacher with The Learning Experience, you will collaborate closely with the 4KSteps program guide and coach, following the program's instructional framework and practices to deliver high-quality early learning experiences to eligible 4K students.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction in alignment with the 4KSteps curriculum and The Learning Experience’s L.E.A.P.® learning model.
- Collaborate with the 4KSteps program guide and coach to plan, implement, and reflect on classroom activities and student progress.
- Maintain a nurturing and structured classroom environment that supports emotional, social, and academic growth.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster a positive learning community.
- Use observation and assessment tools to track student growth and communicate progress to families.
- Ensure compliance with all state and program licensing requirements.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required)
This is a requirement under South Carolina’s 4KSteps program guidelines.
- A minimum of six months of professional teaching experience in a preschool or early childhood setting (one year preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with peers and instructional coaches.
- Passion for early childhood development and commitment to equity in education.

Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
