The Toddler Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children ages 18 months to 3 years. This role helps implement daily routines, classroom activities, and positive guidance strategies that promote each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
Supervise toddlers to ensure a safe and caring environment at all times.
Support children with daily routines, including meals, diapering/toileting, rest, and transitions.
Foster positive relationships with children by engaging in play, conversation, and supportive interactions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom.
Model and encourage respectful behavior, cooperation, and problem-solving skills.
Observe and report developmental progress, behaviors, and concerns to the Lead Teacher.
Communicate effectively with staff and families to support each child’s growth.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required.
Compensation: $14.00 per hour
