About the Role:
Join our passionate team at The Learning Experience # Rhodes ranch in Las Vegas, NV, as an Infant Assistant Teacher! This role is perfect for nurturing individuals who want to make a positive impact on the lives of our youngest learners in a warm and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities for infants.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants to explore and learn.
- Monitor and document infants' progress and developmental milestones.
- Support the hygiene and feeding routines of infants in care.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities and milestones.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; early childhood education coursework preferred.
- Prior experience working with infants or in a childcare setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Background check clearance required.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for shifts during weekdays.
