Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday
Pay Range: $25 – $27 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead 2’s Teacher to join our Hudson Yards team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in early childhood education and a passion for supporting the growth and development of young learners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the 2’s classroom with creativity, structure, and warmth.
  • Implement The Learning Experience® L.E.A.P. Curriculum® aligned with age-appropriate milestones.
  • Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding classroom activities and child progress.
  • Mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers to ensure consistent classroom excellence.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and center policies.

Qualifications

  • BA or AA in Early Childhood Education (ECE), CDA certification, or a minimum of 5 years of professional childcare experience with a high school diploma.
  • Minimum of 1 year of classroom experience working with toddlers or preschoolers preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Must meet all New York State childcare licensing requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available).
