Infant Assistant Teacher – Full Time $19-$21 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday
Pay: $19-$21/hr
- Support the Lead Infant Teacher in creating a safe, warm, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Assist in daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and individualized care.
- Engage infants in age-appropriate sensory activities that promote early growth and development.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that meets all state and center standards.
- Communicate daily with parents and staff about each child’s progress, needs, and routines.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies to ensure the well-being of every child.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain consistent classroom coverage and ratios.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience working with infants in a childcare, daycare, or early education setting preferred.
- Coursework or certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or CDA credential a plus.
- Ability to meet all New York State childcare licensing requirements.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available).
- Reliable, patient, and passionate about working with children.
