Toddler Teacher – The Learning Experience Gainesville

Location: The Learning Experience – Gainesville, VA
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Pay: $16–$19 per hour (based on experience and credentials)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage an infant or toddler classroom to ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
  • Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive growth.
  • Partner with families to share daily updates and developmental milestones.
  • Mentor assistant teachers and help maintain classroom consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with leadership and staff to achieve educational and operational goals.

Qualifications

  • CDA (Child Development Associate) preferred; Associate degree in Early Childhood Education a plus.
  • At least 6 months of professional childcare experience required (1+ year preferred).
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Must meet all Virginia state childcare licensing requirements.
