Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
- Implement an age-appropriate curriculum that supports developmental milestones.
- Incorporate sensory play, music, language development, and hands-on learning.
- Adapt activities based on individual child needs and interests.
- Encourage growth in language, motor skills, emotional regulation, and independence.
- Guide appropriate social interactions and model positive behavior.
- Support self-help skills including feeding, dressing, and toileting.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families.
- Provide daily updates to parents regarding meals, naps, and activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment that promotes exploration and learning.
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE), or CDA credential, or 5 years of professional experience with a high school diploma.
- At least 6 months of classroom teaching experience (1+ year preferred).
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Must meet all New York State childcare licensing requirements.
