Location: The Learning Experience – Columbus Circle, New York, NY
Pay: $20–$22 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

About The Learning Experience

The Learning Experience – Columbus Circle is seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our growing team of early childhood educators. Our toddler program helps children build independence, curiosity, and a love for learning through exploration, hands-on activities, and play-based learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a toddler classroom in alignment with developmental milestones.
  • Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum, encouraging social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Foster a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment that supports exploration and creativity.
  • Communicate regularly with families about daily activities and milestones.
  • Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to maintain classroom quality and compliance with NYC childcare standards.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred.
  • CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education required.
  • Minimum 6 months of classroom teaching experience (1+ year preferred).
  • Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Must meet all NYC DOHMH childcare licensing requirements.
