Location: The Learning Experience – Byron Center, MI
Pay: $16–$18 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

About The Learning Experience
More than a daycare—we’re a community dedicated to nurturing curiosity, confidence, and lifelong learning for children ages six weeks to five years.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers.
- Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum to promote hands-on learning and fun.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Communicate daily with parents about children’s achievements and milestones.
- Collaborate with leadership and team members to ensure classroom success.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred.
- Six months of professional childcare experience required; one year preferred.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Must meet all state of Michigan childcare licensing requirements.
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff.
At TLE®, we’ve created a full cast of characters that become our little learners’ educators, partners and friends through their preschool education journey. Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.
