Pay: $16–$18 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
- Provide a safe, loving, and developmentally supportive environment for infants.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that encourage early learning and sensory exploration.
- Support emotional, physical, and developmental growth including tummy time, communication, and fine motor development.
- Communicate daily with families regarding feedings, naps, diaper changes, and development updates.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, safety, and organization.
- Work collaboratively with co-teachers and center leadership to ensure high-quality care.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 6+ months of experience working with infants in a licensed daycare, preschool, or childcare setting (one year preferred).
- CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is a plus.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for infants.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Must meet Michigan state childcare licensing requirements.
