The Assistant Teacher/Floater supports multiple classrooms as needed, working with children from infancy through preschool. This role requires flexibility, reliability, and a genuine love for working with young children.
Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers with daily routines, activities, and supervision
- Help create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment
- Support children during play, meals, naps, and transitions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom
- Communicate effectively with staff and families
- Float between classrooms as staffing needs arise
- Experience working with young children (preferred but not required)
- HS Diploma or higher education
- Friendly, patient, and energetic demeanor
- Flexibility to work in different classrooms as needed
- Must be available to work late hours, specifically until 6:00 PM
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Must meet licensing and background check requirements
