Assistant Teacher – The Learning Experience Beltline (Grand Rapids, MI)
Pay: $15–$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

About Us
The Learning Experience – Beltline is seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Our center provides a warm, supportive, play-based learning environment where infants, toddlers, and preschoolers grow through exploration and hands-on experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Support lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for young children.
- Assist with implementing The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum, encouraging learning through play, movement, and discovery.
- Help with classroom activities, circle time, art, meals, diapering/toileting, and routines.
- Communicate daily with families about classroom activities and individual child updates.
- Maintain a clean, organized environment and follow Michigan childcare licensing standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred.
- Coursework or interest in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, child-centered environment.
- Must meet Michigan licensing requirements.
