Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Location: The Learning Experience – Clarkston, MI
- Support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom.
- Assist with implementing The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum, helping children grow socially, cognitively, and emotionally.
- Help maintain daily classroom routines and structure.
- Build warm, positive relationships with children and families.
- Communicate daily with parents through classroom apps and conversations.
- Support individualized learning goals and help observe child progress.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with Michigan childcare licensing standards.
- Collaborate with your teaching team and center leadership to promote a positive, high-quality learning environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred.
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework a plus, but not required.
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available).
- Reliable, team-oriented, and passionate about supporting early learners.
