Early Childhood Teacher – The Learning Experience Byron Center
Pay: $16–$18 per hour

About The Learning Experience
At The Learning Experience – Byron Center, we create joyful, engaging classrooms where children learn through exploration, hands-on activities, and meaningful connections. We are seeking a warm, energetic Early Childhood Teacher to support the development of young learners in our toddler and preschool-age programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
- Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum, supporting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Partner with co-teachers to deliver lessons, guide classroom routines, and maintain structure.
- Build strong relationships with families through daily communication and progress updates.
- Observe, document, and support individual learning goals.
- Ensure compliance with Michigan childcare licensing, safety, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with center leadership to uphold program excellence and classroom consistency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred.
- At least 6 months of childcare or preschool classroom experience (1+ year preferred).
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training available).
- Dependable, enthusiastic, and passionate about early childhood education.

This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff.
