Job Summary
The Learning Experience is hiring a Food Service Worker to prepare healthy meals and maintain a clean, safe kitchen for our center. This role ensures proper food safety practices and supports a positive daily experience for children.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve daily meals and snacks
- Follow menus and allergy safe procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen that meets licensing standards
- Manage inventory and supplies
- Support center events with simple, family friendly meals
Qualifications
- Experience in a childcare kitchen, school kitchen, or commercial food service setting
- Knowledge of safe food handling ServSafe preferred
- Strong organization, reliability, and teamwork
- Ability to work independently and maintain safety and sanitation standards
Schedule
Full time, Monday through Friday, no nights or weekends.
