Part-Time Daycare Teacher (The Learning Experience of Astoria)
The Learning Experience of Astoria is seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join our team as a Part-Time Floating Teacher. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with children and can confidently support classrooms ranging from infants through 4 years old.
Position: Part-Time Daycare Teacher (Floating Position)

- 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children, including infants
- A nurturing, reliable, and flexible educator who can step into any classroom when support is needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment
- Someone comfortable with all age groups and with going between all classrooms
Responsibilities
- Support lead teachers with daily routines, activities, and classroom management
- Assist with diapering, feeding, classroom prep, transitions, and supervision
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming learning environment
