Location: Sterling, VA
Pay: $19–$22 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

About The Learning Experience

The Learning Experience – Sterling is seeking a caring, patient, and dependable Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Our infant program provides a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where babies explore, grow, and build secure relationships with their caregivers.

If you have experience working with infants and a passion for supporting early development, this is a great opportunity to join one of the most trusted childcare centers in the Sterling community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, nurturing care for infants ages 6 weeks–12 months.

  • Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and sensory play.

  • Create a safe, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.

  • Build strong relationships with families through daily communication and updates.

  • Implement age-appropriate developmental activities to support early learning.

  • Follow all Virginia state childcare licensing requirements and center policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Previous experience working in an infant classroom is required.

  • Knowledge of infant development and developmentally appropriate practices.

  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available).

  • Dependable, nurturing, and able to work in a team-centered environment.
