About the Role:
Join The Learning Experience - Corporate Childcare Centers as a Cook in Albuquerque - Paradise Hills, NM! In this role, you will prepare nutritious and delicious meals for our little learners, ensuring they receive the best start in life through healthy eating.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook balanced meals and snacks for children in accordance with nutrition guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following health and safety regulations.
- Plan weekly menus that cater to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure meal times are enjoyable and engaging for children.
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure freshness.
- Train and supervise kitchen assistants and volunteers.
- Document food preparation and sanitation procedures for compliance.
- Participate in special events and activities that promote healthy eating.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial kitchen or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate meal preparation needs.
- Creative flair for developing kid-friendly, nutritious recipes.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
