We are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Infant/Toddler Teacher who brings experience, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young children.

Position Summary

The Assistant Infant/Toddler Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment for infants and toddlers. This role is ideal for an experienced early childhood professional who enjoys collaborating with a team and providing consistent, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Lead Teacher in implementing daily activities and routines

  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment

  • Assist with daily care routines including feeding, diapering, toileting, and rest

  • Engage infants and toddlers in developmentally appropriate play and learning

  • Provide positive guidance and support children’s social-emotional development

  • Supervise children at all times to ensure safety

  • Maintain open and respectful communication with the teaching team

  • Follow all state licensing regulations, health, and safety procedures

  • Assist with classroom organization and material preparation

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an Early Childhood Education setting

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Strong understanding of infant and toddler development

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Dependable, patient, and team-oriented

  • Ability to meet all state and center background clearance requirements

Compensation: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
