Early Childhood Teacher / Daycare Teacher – Full Time
Location: The Learning Experience – Byron Center, MI
Pay: $16–$18 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM)

About Us
More than a daycare, The Learning Experience is a nurturing early learning center serving children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. We focus on building confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning through hands-on, play-based education.
What You’ll Do
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers
- Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum using play-based learning
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
- Build strong relationships with families and teammates
- Communicate daily with parents about milestones and classroom activities
- Collaborate with leadership to maintain a positive, high-quality learning environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred
- At least 6 months of childcare, daycare, or preschool experience (1 year preferred)
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Must meet all Michigan childcare licensing requirements
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff.

Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.
