Preschool Lead Teacher
Location: The Learning Experience – Ramsey, NJ
Pay: $17 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Ramsey is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with preschool-aged children in a structured, play-based learning environment that supports school readiness and social development.

Our preschool classrooms focus on building confidence, independence, and early academic skills through hands-on learning, consistent routines, and positive guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily classroom activities in a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment

  • Implement age-appropriate lessons and routines aligned with The Learning Experience curriculum

  • Guide children through daily transitions, learning centers, meals, and rest time

  • Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured activities

  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety standards

  • Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members

  • Follow all state licensing requirements and center policies

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Prior childcare or preschool experience preferred

  • Reliable, nurturing, and team-oriented

  • Ability to meet all New Jersey childcare licensing and background requirements
