Location: The Learning Experience – Brooklyn, Bushwick
Pay: $20–$23 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
- Lead a toddler classroom in a safe, warm, and developmentally appropriate environment
- Implement daily lessons aligned with The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Support early language, motor skills, social interaction, and emotional development
- Maintain consistent routines including meals, diapering or toileting, transitions, and rest time
- Supervise and support assistant teachers to ensure classroom consistency and quality
- Observe and document developmental milestones and classroom progress
- Build strong relationships with families through daily communication
- Maintain compliance with New York City Department of Health licensing requirements and center policies
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred, or
- CDA credential, or
- High school diploma with 5 or more years of classroom experience
- Experience working with toddlers in a licensed early childhood setting
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to meet all NYC childcare licensing and background requirements
