Toddler Teacher (Ages 1–2)

The Learning Experience – Beltline is seeking a caring and dependable Toddler Teacher to support a classroom serving young toddlers. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys guiding children through early independence, language development, and social growth in a structured, play-based learning environment.
Our toddler program emphasizes consistent routines, positive guidance, and hands-on exploration to help children feel secure, confident, and engaged throughout the day.
Your Role:
- Support daily toddler classroom activities in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment
- Implement age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Encourage early language, motor skills, and social-emotional development through play
- Maintain consistent routines including meals, diapering or toileting, transitions, and rest time
- Observe children’s progress and share updates with the teaching team
- Communicate regularly with families about daily routines and activities
- Collaborate with leadership and teaching teams to meet licensing and school standards
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom and follow health and safety guidelines

What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Toddler, daycare, or childcare experience preferred
- Early childhood coursework or degree a plus
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing and background requirements
- Reliable, patient, and team-oriented
