About the Role:
Join The Learning Experience in Humble, TX as a part-time Bus Driver! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are dedicated to ensuring the safety and comfort of our young passengers while providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport children to and from school and various activities.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.
- Ensure the safety of all passengers while on board.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding pick-up and drop-off times.
- Assist children in boarding and disembarking the bus.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Report any issues or incidents to management promptly.
Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement preferred.
- Experience driving buses or similar vehicles is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and engage with children of various ages.
- Clean driving record and background check.
- Availability for flexible part-time hours, including mornings and afternoons.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
