Part-Time Third Key (Classroom & Administrative Support)
Location: The Learning Experience - River Vale
Pay: $18–$19 per hour
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday | 2:30 PM–6:30 PM
Wednesday | 9:30 AM–6:30 PM

The Learning Experience is seeking an experienced Part-Time Third Key to support both classroom operations and front office administration. This hybrid role is ideal for a dependable early childhood professional who is confident working with preschool-aged children (Infants through 4 years old) and comfortable assisting with administrative responsibilities.

This position plays a key leadership support role within the center.

Key Responsibilities

Classroom Support

  • Provide lead-level classroom support for toddlers and preschoolers

  • Assist with curriculum implementation and structured classroom routines

  • Support behavior guidance and maintain a safe learning environment

  • Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios and program quality

Administrative Support

  • Answer phones and greet families professionally

  • Assist with filing, paperwork, and document organization

  • Support daily operational tasks and communication

  • Help leadership maintain compliance and organization

Qualifications

  • CDA credential required

  • Experience teaching children ages 2 and older required

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Comfortable balancing classroom and administrative responsibilities

  • Must meet all state childcare licensing and background requirements
