About the Role
We are seeking a caring and dependable Childcare Teacher to provide support across classrooms in our early childhood learning center. This role assists teaching staff with daily activities, classroom routines, and supervision of children.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative school environment, is flexible, and helps maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging space for children throughout the day, including afternoon and end-of-day routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching staff with daily classroom activities and routines.
- Help create a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
- Supervise children during indoor play, outdoor activities, and transitions.
- Assist with setting up learning materials and classroom activities.
- Provide additional support in classrooms when needed.
- Help with afternoon and end-of-day procedures to ensure classrooms are prepared for the next day.
- Ensure children are properly supervised and engaged throughout the day.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to maintain a positive learning environment.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with young children or in a childcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt and provide support in different classroom environments.
- Reliable, patient, and supportive when working with children.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a childcare center, daycare, or early childhood education setting.
- Understanding of child development and play-based learning.
- Strong organization and classroom support skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with staff.
