Infant Teacher (Early Childhood Education)
Location: The Learning Experience – East Brunswick, NJ
Pay: $17 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – East Brunswick is seeking a caring and dependable Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role focuses on providing responsive care and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for babies in a safe, nurturing classroom environment.

Our infant program supports early social, emotional, and physical development through consistent routines, sensory exploration, and meaningful interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, responsive care to infants throughout the day

  • Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, naps, and transitions

  • Engage infants in sensory activities, music, and early language experiences

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment

  • Observe infants and support developmental milestones

  • Communicate daily with families regarding routines and progress

  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to maintain a positive classroom environment

  • Follow all New Jersey childcare licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Experience working with infants or young children preferred

  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices preferred

  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain

  • Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing and background requirements
