This role plays an important part in ensuring children receive healthy meals while maintaining high standards for kitchen safety and cleanliness.

What You Will Do
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to the center menu
• Follow all food safety guidelines and health department standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
• Manage food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
• Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and temperature monitoring
• Support teachers and staff during meal and snack times when needed

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environments preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to maintain an organized and clean workspace
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
