About the Role:
Join The Learning Experience #475 in Madison, AL as our Education Director, where you will lead a passionate team dedicated to nurturing young minds. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing our educational programs and ensuring a vibrant, engaging learning environment for children.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative educational programs that align with our mission and values.
- Oversee curriculum development, ensuring it meets state standards and fosters holistic child development.
- Lead, mentor, and support teaching staff to enhance their professional growth and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular assessments of educational practices and outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
- Engage with families and the community to promote educational initiatives and build strong partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment.
- Organize and facilitate training workshops and professional development for staff.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Conduct regular classroom and facility checks
- Support emergency preparedness procedures
- Assist with tours and new family orientation
- Support marketing initiatives and community outreach
- Help achieve enrollment goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, Child Development, or related field; master's preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an educational leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with staff and families.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a diverse team.
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Passion for early childhood education and commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
