Lead Preschool Teacher – The Learning Experience Manassas City
Location: The Learning Experience – Manassas City, VA
Pay: $18–$20 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

The Learning Experience – Manassas City is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Lead Preschool Teacher to guide our preschool classroom and support children as they build independence, confidence, and early academic skills in a structured, engaging environment.

This role is ideal for an experienced childcare professional who enjoys leading a classroom, creating meaningful learning experiences, and partnering with families to support school readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily classroom instruction using developmentally appropriate activities
  • Create a consistent, positive learning environment that supports social and emotional growth
  • Implement lesson plans aligned with our early childhood curriculum framework
  • Supervise children during learning centers, meals, playground time, and transitions
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets licensing and safety standards
  • Communicate regularly with families about student progress and classroom updates
  • Collaborate with center leadership and teaching team members
  • Support children’s independence, problem-solving, and early literacy development
Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Prior preschool or childcare experience required
  • Experience leading a classroom strongly preferred
  • Ability to meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Dependable, patient, and team-oriented
