Department: Early Childhood Education
Job Type: Full-Time
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily learning activities.
- Create and maintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment.
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Manage daily classroom routines effectively.
- Observe and document children’s progress and developmental milestones.
- Communicate with families regarding student progress and classroom updates.
- Supervise, mentor, and support assistant teachers and classroom staff.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred).
- Experience working in a childcare, preschool, or early education setting required.
- Previous experience in a lead teacher or classroom leadership role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of child development and early learning practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience with curriculum planning and classroom management.
- Ability to lead and support a team of educators.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Passion for creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
