We are looking for a passionate Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our TLE team of wonderful and dedicated educators!
The Role
As a Preschool Assistant Teacher, you will work alongside our Lead Teacher to create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment. You will be actively engaging them in age-appropriate activities, supporting their social-emotional growth, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
What You'll Do:
- Curriculum: Assist implementing our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, that fosters language, motor skills, cognitive and social-emotional growth.
- Engage & Play: Facilitate hands-on learning activities, arts and crafts, storytime, and outdoor play that spark imagination.
- Connect with Families: Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and guardians, providing daily updates on their child's progress and joy.
- Ensure Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment in compliance with state licensing regulations.
- Collaborate: Work as part of a supportive team to plan lessons, manage classroom routines, and celebrate every child's unique achievements.
Who You Are
We are looking for someone who loves children as much as we do! You don't need to have all the answers yet, but you must have a heart for teaching and a willingness to learn.
- Passion for Early Childhood Education: You enjoy working with children ages 3 to 5 years and understand the importance of play-based learning.
- Experience: You have at least 1 year of experience in Early Childhood Education (ECE) with a focus on preschool age classrooms.
- Educated: PDIS Level 2
- Licensed: You meet all state licensing requirements for an Assistant/Lead Teacher.
- Team Player: You are collaborative, positive, and eager to support the Lead Teacher and your colleagues.
- Reliable & Responsible: You understand the importance of punctuality, consistency, and maintaining a safe environment for children to grow.
