We are building a leadership team and are looking for a strong Assistant Director to help launch and grow our school.
This is a unique opportunity to shape culture, support enrollment, and build a high-performing team from day one.
Location: Cimarron Hills | Colorado Springs, CO 80939
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-Time
Pay: $23.00–$26.00/hour (based on experience & credentials)
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000
Assistant Directors at The Learning Experience influence the growth and development of both children and teachers. They create an environment of collaboration and community, encouraging everyone to thrive.
- Assists the CD in creating a positive CULTURE for teachers, parents, and little learners this includes Health and Safety
- Uses a growth mindset to train, coach and develop teacher for the future
- Serve as a primary point of contact for families, delivering a high level of customer service and communication at all times
- Maintain accurate and compliant child files, ensuring all required documentation meets state licensing standards
- Assist teachers in bringing curriculum to life and creating high level educational experiences to our little learners
- Support classroom and staffing schedules to align with enrollment needs, ratios, and daily operations
- Follow up with leads, manage waitlists, and partner with leadership to drive and sustain enrollment growth
- Leads tour with prospective families, highlighting key features and points of difference of our curriculum, teacher tenure/quality, etc.
- Lead enrollment efforts by conducting engaging tours, building relationships with prospective families, and confidently guiding them through the enrollment process
- Regularly communicates with families regarding student progress
- Executes “parent pleasers”
- Execution of our Bubbles and Friends Parent App
- Regularly audits and maintains all records and files for students
- Ensures the physical environment and health/safety standards are full compliance with local and state licensing regulations
- Manages relationships with state licensors and conducts center evaluations
- Responsible for accident/incident reporting
- Medication management
- Conducts monthly emergency safety drills
- Must meet educational requirements for the Director of a Large franchised center in the state of Colorado
- Must have a Colorado Shines PDIS Directors credential
- Must be a Credential 3.0 PDIS Level III or higher
- Two or more years of center leadership/management experience highly preferred. At least one year of center leadership/management experience required. TLE Experience preferred
- Must have professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children
- Experience in customer service is preferred
- AA or higher degree in ECE or related field highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations
- CPR and First Aid Certification highly preferred or willing to obtain for the position within 30 days
- Must meet state specific guidelines
Paid in two installments: $500 after 45 days and $500 after 90 days of active employment.
Bonus is contingent on good standing, attendance, and compliance with licensing standards. Employees who separate from employment before 180 days will be required to repay the bonus.
