Pay: $17.00–$20.00/hour (Based on Credentials & Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday
- $250 paid after 45 days of employment
- $250 paid after 90 days of employment
- Maintain reliable attendance (no excessive call-outs or tardiness)
- Meet performance and classroom quality standards
- Remain in good standing with no disciplinary action
As a Toddler Teacher, you will work with children ages 12–36 months, supporting their development through structured routines, nurturing care, and engaging learning experiences. This role requires strong classroom management, consistency, and teamwork to maintain a safe and positive environment for children and staff.
- Partner with and learn from the teachers in your classroom to create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for children to learn, play and grow
- Responsible for the care, health and safety of toddlers ages 12 months to 36 months
- Required to have knowledge of developmentally appropriate activities, lesson planning, and assessments
- Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning
- Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, working with Infants, Toddler children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
- Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
- Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
- Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
- High School Diploma/ GED required
- ECE Coursework/AA/BA Preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
- DCF 45 hours required***
- CDA Preferred if no Early Education Degree
- CPR/First Aid Preferred
- Able to lift at least 25-40 pounds/sit on the floor and engage with children
- Background check clearance (required)
- CPR/First Aid (current or completed upon hire)
- Ability to meet state licensing requirements
