Location: Huntington, NY
Pay: $19.50–$22/hour
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | No nights or weekends

What You’ll Do

  •  Lead a classroom (infant, toddler, or preschool) 
  •  Deliver hands-on learning using L.E.A.P. Curriculum® 
  •  Keep children safe, engaged, and on routine 
  •  Communicate daily with parents (quick updates) 
  •  Work as a team to support enrollment + retention 
What You Need

  •  18+ years old 
  •  High School Diploma or GED 
  •  1+ year childcare / daycare / preschool experience 
  •  Able to lift 40 lbs and stay active 
New York Childcare Licensing (OCFS)

To qualify as a Lead Teacher in New York, you must meet 1 of the following areas:
  •  Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or related)
  •  CDA credential + 1 year childcare experience
  •  9 ECE credits + plan toward CDA/degree + 2 years experience 
Also required to complete the following:
  •  Background check clearance 
  •  NYS health + immunization requirements 
  •  OCFS health & safety training
