Location: The Learning Experience – Gurnee, IL
Pay: $18–$19.25 per hour (commensurate with childcare experience and credentials)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Shift Options: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum using interactive learning experiences and classroom activities
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Build positive relationships with families and teaching team members
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding classroom activities and developmental progress
- Maintain classroom organization and compliance with licensing and safety standards
- Guide children through daily routines including meals, rest time, and learning centers
- Help create a positive school culture where learning and play happen seamlessly
- Genuine passion for early childhood education and childcare
- Minimum 6 months of professional teaching experience required
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred
- Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must meet Illinois childcare licensing requirements
