Preschool Teacher (Early Childhood Education)
Location: The Learning Experience – Gurnee, IL
Pay: $18–$19.25 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Shift Options: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Preschool Teacher
The Learning Experience – Gurnee is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher to support children ages 3–5 in a structured classroom environment focused on kindergarten readiness, creativity, and social-emotional development.
This role is ideal for educators who enjoy helping young learners build confidence and independence through engaging classroom experiences, hands-on learning, and positive daily routines.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities
- Support early literacy, math readiness, and problem-solving development
- Create a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Encourage social-emotional growth and positive classroom participation
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities using the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom progress and milestones
- Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership
- Maintain compliance with Illinois licensing and safety requirements
Qualifications
- Genuine passion for early childhood education and working with preschool-aged children
- Minimum 6 months of professional teaching experience required
- 1 year of preschool or childcare experience preferred
- Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must meet Illinois childcare licensing requirements
