Experienced Infant Toddler Teacher | Childcare / Daycare (Ages 6 weeks to 2 years old)
Location: Staten Island, NY
Pay: $20 to $24 per hour (or based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, 8 to 5 or 9 to 6
The Learning Experience® – Staten Island, NY is hiring an experienced infant/toddler teacher for our 6 weeks to 12 month and 1-2 year old classrooms. Join our growing childcare center in Staten Island, New York and make a meaningful impact in early childhood education.
What You’ll Do
• Lead and support a preschool or daycare classroom for ages 2 to 5
• Implement our L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a childcare setting
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
• Build strong relationships with children and families
• Collaborate with staff to support enrollment and engagement goals
• Ensure the safety, supervision, and development of every child
Department of Mental Health and Hygiene Requirments:
• Associate's Degree (AA or AS) in Early Childhood Education OR
•CDA + Study Plan towards an ECE Degree OR
• 9 Credits + 2 Years Experience + Study Plan OR
• A Highschool Diploma and 5 Years Experience in a licensed daycare OR
• HS Diploma + employed in permitted program + study plan to 9 credits and Associate's Degree
