- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for toddlers.
- Lead classroom activities while supporting children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a manner that meets the individual needs of each child.
- Serve as a positive role model and foster a growth mindset that encourages curiosity and learning.
- Guide, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers within the classroom while modeling best practices.
- Effectively manage classroom routines, transitions, and daily schedules.
- Build strong relationships with families through regular communication regarding children's milestones, achievements, and daily experiences.
- Collaborate with center leadership and fellow educators to support enrollment, family engagement, and overall center success.
- Maintain compliance with all state licensing requirements and company policies.
- Knowledge of Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP).
- Experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
- Must meet all Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for early childhood education.
